2. What personal data we collect

2.1 Identity data

Full name, date of birth, age, nationality, country of residence.

2.2 Contact data

Email address, telephone and WhatsApp number, Instagram handle, and postal address where you provide one.

2.3 Sporting data

Playing position and secondary position, current and previous clubs, league and competitive level, statistics, match footage and highlight videos, football CV, height, weight, preferred foot, availability to travel, target countries, and passport status.

2.4 Financial data

Payment information is processed by our payment provider [STRIPE — CONFIRM]. We do not store full card details. We retain the transaction record, the amount, the currency and the payment status.

2.5 Guardian data

Where the applicant is under 18: the parent or legal guardian’s full name, email address and telephone number, together with the record of their consent.

2.6 Technical data

IP address, device and browser type, time zone, pages viewed, referring website, date and time of access, and cookie data.

Correspondence with us by email, contact form, application form or WhatsApp.

Legal obligation

Consent is never bundled. Consent to share your profile with clubs is separate from consent to receive marketing, and either may be withdrawn without affecting the other and without affecting your evaluation.

Where you are in the European Union or European Economic Area, the legal bases above correspond to Article 6(1)(b), 6(1)(a), 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(c) of the General Data Protection Regulation respectively, and Article 8 applies to the data of children.

4.2 Clubs, coaches, scouts and federations

We share your profile with a club, coach, scout or federation only where you have given explicit consent, and only for the purpose of pursuing an opportunity on your behalf.

4.3 Professional advisers and authorities

Where required by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

4.4 What we never do

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

5. International transfers

5.1 Your data may be transferred outside your country of residence, including to Mexico, the European Union, the United States and Canada, depending on where our providers and the relevant clubs are located.

5.2 Where data is transferred out of the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision or on Standard Contractual Clauses, with additional safeguards where required.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you;

have inaccurate data rectified;

have your data erased;

restrict how we process it;

object to processing based on our legitimate interests;

receive your data in a portable format;

withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal; and

not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not carry out automated decision-making of that kind.

To exercise any of these rights, write to contacto@greatfootballsa.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act. We respond within 30 days, which may be extended where a request is complex, in which case we will tell you.

Complaints

In Mexico, you may complain to INAI, the National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection. In the European Union or European Economic Area, you may complain to the supervisory authority in your country of residence, your place of work, or the place where the issue arose.

8. Marketing

8.1 We send promotional communications only with your consent.

8.2 Every promotional message contains an unsubscribe link. You may also opt out at any time by writing to contacto@greatfootballsa.com.

8.3 Opting out of marketing does not affect service messages about a booking you have made.

9. Cookies

9.1 Essential cookies are necessary for the website to function and are set without consent.

9.2 Analytics, functional and marketing cookies are set only after you consent through the cookie banner. You may change or withdraw your choice at any time.

10. Minors

10.1 Our services are offered from the age of 16.

10.2 Personal data of applicants under 18 is processed only on the documented consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must be identified on the application and who is copied on all communications.

10.3 We take reasonable steps to verify that consent has been given by the person holding parental responsibility.

10.4 A parent or legal guardian may exercise any of the rights in clause 7 on the minor’s behalf, including withdrawal of consent and erasure.

10.5 We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have, we delete it.

10.6 See clause 9 of our Terms and Conditions for the rules that apply to players aged 16 to 17, including the FIFA regulations on the international transfer of minors.

11. Security

11.1 We protect your data with encryption in transit, access restricted to personnel who need it, secure storage with contracted providers, and periodic security reviews.

11.2 No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11.3 In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify the competent supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, and will inform you directly where the risk is high.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be notified through the website and, where appropriate, by email. The date of the current version appears at the top of this document.
